Parquet Bouquet

Description

Our second design made using a beautifully sustainable cork from the bark of the Quercus Suber tree of the Montado (protected) area of Portugal. The material has not been broken down and re-processed like most wood/paper products and instead the thinly sliced bark retains its organic cellular structure, This keeps the beautiful natural patterns of the cork intact. The integral cellular structure of this thin bark means that the edges of the design can be a tiny bit rough, we think its adds to its charm and authenticity. The material also has a natural warm woody smell to it. “Parquet Bouquet” was inspired by the intricate art of Parquet flooring and comes with 24 extra adhesive dots to re-apply on the back when the design loses its stickiness, so you can wear it again and again.
